The inn was immaculately clean and was attentively well kept. They provided us with helpful information above and beyond of what we inquired, and despite it being a busy season I got a very polite concierge. Every room also had beautiful flowers in it. I would definitely like to go there again. + More

The interiors are not visible from the outside that has an exterior that's typical of a Kyoto machiya. Or room was very pleasant and had light coming in from the inner-garden. There are many famous places nearby that once can visit by foot, and the hotel's staff were also familiar with the nearby tasty restaurants etc. and they recommended us a few. With most of the tourists gone by night, the quiet stone pathway lit by the soft twilight is surreal. It's a feeling you cannot experience unless you come and stay here! The shigaraki ware baths are also quite calming. Thank you so much for the moments of pure relaxation. + More
