I stayed in Tokyo for 3 nights total, but I stayed here on the 2nd day. Since I was going to the Tokyo Dome that day, I chose this hotel after searching nearby. It was unfortunately raining that day, but when I stopped by beforehand to drop off luggage, I was welcomed in and even loaned an umbrella. They even showed me a convenient way to go to the Tokyo Dome and I was able to get there without getting soaked. One additional benefit to the hotel is the joint operation of the restaurant "1899", and I enjoyed a glass of their Matcha Beer from my room. Let me tell you, it was delicious. + More

As soon as I arrived I was given tea, chocolate, and a hot towel, and I was particularly thankful for the attention in light of the cold, rainy weather. All of the rooms being on the 2nd floor and the small overall number gave me a compact sort of impression, but noise issues, etc. did not bother me at all, and I had a splendid time. The amenities were also Japanese-made and had a pleasant tea scent. The bath was made from Shigaraki ware and very stylish. The drinks in the refrigerator were complimentary, and there were even decaf portions of Nespresso, which was a lifesaver, since being pregrant and I had all but given up on there being coffee available. Both the staff and facilities made it a really comfortable place. + More

Kind of a light, refreshing flavor I'd never experienced before. Having been renovated in August of 2014, the room was beautiful, spacious, and had a Japanese feeling about it that was wonderful and really left an impression. About breakfast, I chose the light Japanese-style breakfast option, "Wa no Asage." Breakfast was brought to my room and consisted of Chameshi rice made using roast Hojicha tea, Chazuke rice covered in special broth, and Obanzai-style boiled and marinated dishes. The gentle flavors and fact that it wasn't to heavy, let me clean my plate. It was genuinely scrumptious! The members of staff were are just the right level of friendly, and I think I'd give them a perfect score of 100%, especially the female staff members!! If I should ever have another chance to go to Tokyo, it's definitely become a hotel I'd like to stay at again. I also plan to recommend this hotel to my friends. Thank you again for everything. + More

It was really a fantastic hotel. Finding out that this kind of place exists even in the city made me really happy. When I go to Tokyo, I'm definitely going to stay again. Next time, I think I'd really like to just take it easy in the room. Thank you for the very warm welcome that I received. + More

I reserved a room in order to travel to Tokyo and spend some quality time relaxing with my daughter living in the city. I'm not the biggest fan of huge hotels, and recently I've had a little trouble finding one I fancy, but I hit the jackpot this time. As soon as I walked into the entryway I was greeted with smiles from all of the staff, and any reservations and fatigue I had seemed to dissolve. The bath, which I had been looking forward to, was also absolutely great. I took my time and soaked twice, both night and morning. My daughter and I ended up regretting that we didn't stay more than one night. For breakfast, there was nothing particularly novel, but it was carefully prepared and was a delight to both the eye and the palate. Next time, I will definitely stay multiple nights. With the functionality of a hotel and the meticulous attention to detail of a ryokan inn, it was a really splendid hotel. + More
